Topics and projects

The members of the Naver Lab, primarily composed of faculty members from the project proposal team for the establishment of the AI Department at Information Technology Faculty 1, have been actively and creatively proposing and implementing various research projects and tasks related to high-application artificial intelligence (AI). Some of the scientific research projects and product development tasks in the field of AI that have been and are currently being implemented include:

1. The national-level project titled “Research, design, and manufacture of an automatic system to assist in monitoring respiration and abnormal movements based on the Internet of Things (IoT),” project code ĐTDLCN-16/18, has been successfully completed and highly praised by the evaluation councils at all levels.

2. The national-level project “Research on building an automatic system to detect, warn, and prevent cyberattacks targeting small IoT devices using an intelligent agent network,” project code KC-4.0-05/19-25, is currently being implemented.

3. The Ministry of Information and Communications-level project “Research and propose a deep learning distillation method for Vietnamese voice verification,” project code ĐT.18/24, is currently being implemented.

4. The Ministry of Information and Communications-level project “Research and experiment with a system for classifying cough sounds based on few-shot deep learning,” project code ĐT.17/23, has been successfully completed.

5. The Ministry of Information and Communications-level project “Research and build an intelligent system using AI to automatically detect and warn of abnormal phenomena in forest management activities,” project code ĐT.28/23, has been successfully completed.

6. The Ministry of Information and Communications-level project “Research and build a trial AI application system for online evaluation and testing activities,” project code ĐT.21/22, has been successfully completed.

7. The Ministry of Information and Communications-level project “Research and propose solutions using AI in managing online information and digital media in Vietnam,” project code ĐT.52/21, has been successfully completed.

8. The Ministry of Information and Communications-level project “Research and build a trial environmental monitoring system and digital air quality mapping using drones and AI technology to serve smart cities,” project code ĐT.24/21, has been successfully completed.
