M.S. Tran Quy Duong

M.Sc. Tran Quy Duong holds a bachelor’s degree in Data Science and a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with Honours from Aalto University, Finland. His master’s thesis, under supervision by Professor Heikki Mannila - former President of the Academy of Finland, was titled “Finding Structures in Document Embeddings Using Sequence Segmentation”. The thesis explores hidden structures in vector representations of long documents generated by large language models (LLMs). Since March 2026, he has been a lecturer in the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), where he teaches and conducts research. His current research focuses on Efficient ML, including model distillation and continuous embedding methods.
