Roles and responsibilities

I.Role:

  • The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence has the function of providing training and scientific research in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

II.Responsibilities:

1.Teaching and course management::
  • Manage and organize the teaching of subjects and courses managed by the Faculty of Training Systems (training forms and training levels) of the Academy.
2.Education and training activities:
  • Plan and organize the implementation of educational and training activities according to the general plan of the Academy, including: Developing training programs for the majors and specialties assigned by the Academy; organizing the compilation of detailed outlines of related subjects to ensure consistency and avoid overlap between subjects of the training program or between training levels; organizing the development of training programs, developing projects, compiling documents and textbooks according to the development orientation of the Academy; organizing research to improve teaching and learning methods; developing and implementing methods for testing and evaluating students’ learning and training results, ensuring the output standards of learners according to the announced commitments, meeting the needs of the labor market. The development of training programs, textbooks and teaching materials must comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
3.Scientific research:
  • In-depth scientific research on Artificial Intelligence with high-quality scientific research results that meet international standards. Planning and organizing the implementation of scientific and technological activities, international cooperation; cooperating with scientific and technological organizations, production and business establishments related to the training industry and mobilizing the participation of enterprises in the training process of the Faculty.

4.Team and facility development:

  • Develop a plan to develop the teaching staff, training professions and facilities for training and scientific research, and enhance conditions to ensure training quality.

5.Political and ideological education:

  • Develop plans and organize the implementation of political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education for lecturers, employees and learners; have plans to train and improve the professional qualifications and skills of lecturers and other employees of the Faculty.

6.Staff evaluation:

  • Organize the evaluation of managers, lecturers, and researchers in the faculty and participate in the evaluation of managers in the Academy according to the Academy’s regulations.

7.Facilities Management:

  • Manage facilities and equipment assigned to the Faculty according to regulations; implement reporting regime according to regulations and be responsible for reported data.

8.Policy implementation:

  • Organize the implementation of policies, directives, resolutions, regulations and rules of superiors, coordinate and create conditions for the Trade Union, Youth Union and other organizations to operate well in their charters, functions and tasks; organize emulation movements for good teaching and good learning and other emulation contents in the Faculty.

9.Other tasks:

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Director of the Academy.
